How much time do I need?
This is the question that we get asked the most. It really depends on what kind of wedding you are planning and how many pictures you are taking. It's very difficult to plan the amount of time you need without talking to your photographer. If you are planning on formal photos, you may need 60-90 minutes for photos and you probably don't want to do those while your guests are there. A good rule of thumb is that you need two hours just to get to the chapel, get everyone organized and have the ceremony. So, you add photo time and decorating to that. But every ceremony is different. Most ceremonies only take 20-30 minutes but you may have a very special ceremony that takes longer. We'll outline some ideas below:
$395 Mini Wedding 2-Hours
Who is this prefect for - Very small weddings with only casual photos being taken and no decorating planned.
The mini-wedding is great for couples who are doing a very short ceremony and only have a few family members and friends coming. We try to restrict this time slot to weddings of *less than 25 guests. Trust us on this, it takes longer than you think to get people in and out of your wedding, they are happy for you and want to talk to you - it's a special day! If you have very few guests, you don't need to decorate and you are not planning to take formal photos, this might be the right amount of time for you.
$495 Simple Wedding 3-Hours
Who this is perfect for - Very organized brides who want to do a few formal photos but do not need a lot of decorating.
The Simple Wedding works great for lots of couples. If you want to do some formal photos before your guests arrive or after the ceremony, you will usually need a minimum of three hours. 15 minutes to arrive and set up, 45 minutes to seat and settle your guests while you get ready and someone takes care of pinning flowers on everyone, 20-30 minutes for the ceremony,15 minutes to talk to your guests,1 hour for photos and 15 minutes to gather everyone up, pack the cars, find your shoes and get out. (just kidding about the get out) You can decorate a little in this amount of time but only if you have a competent friend or florist taking care of it for you, you won't have time to do it yourself.
$695 Classic Wedding 4-Hours
Who this is perfect for - Brides that are planning on decorating the chapel and want a full set of formal photos.
Our most popular time slot. If you want to make the chapel your own on your wedding day, this is the right amount of time for you. The four-hour time slot gives you plenty of time to get ready, decorate the church and take a full set of formal photos. And it's great because you have more time to connect with your family and friends and deal with anything unexpected that comes up. (like someone getting stuck in traffic or drunk relatives showing up, you know that kind of thing)
$895 Elegant Wedding 6-Hours
Who this is pefect for - Couples that don't want to watch the clock or have a special ceremony. Anyone wants to take their time decorating and taking pictures or are planning on doing a cake and punch reception in our receiving hall.
Several brides this last year requested our noon-6 time slot just so they would have plenty of time to relax in the bridal lounge, decorate the chapel and not worry about watching the clock. If you have a bigger bridal party, or you have a special ceremony that is longer than 20 minutes, includes important cultural traditions or is being translated into a second language, this might be the right choice for you. One of our couples did a slide show, other couples want lots of music during their weddings, some brides choose this just because they don't want to stress out about the time. Also, we have a small reception room here at the church so it's also good if you are having a small wedding and you want to eat some cake with your guests (the reception hall holds about 40).
Other Weddings
By far, our most popular wedding this year was the Candlelight Holiday Wedding. Available fron mid-November to the end of December. It's $899 for 3 hours and it's really stunning. The chapel is lit with soft holiday lights and candles and it's very romantic. We also do special New Years Eve weddings too.
