Welcome to Brooks Hill
The Brooks Hill Historic Church is an intimate, historic chapel perched on a hill overlooking the beautiful west valley in Portland, Oregon.
Built in 1931, the church served the local Skyline community for over 70 years as the Brooks Hill Free Methodist Church. The church was the gathering place for the local families who founded and farmed this stunning area of Portland, settled by Swiss, German and Russian immigrants.
The church was purchased in January of 2005 by Cindy Lou Banks, local Portland musician. Cindy has long been interested in historic buildings and oversaw the restoration of three Victorian houses before falling in love with and purchasing the church.
We appreciate the history of the building and the neighborhood. We hope to make the church a warm and inviting space for music, weddings and community events.
Only 20 minutes from downtown Portland, Brooks Hill is the perfect venue for events under 100 guests and has a gorgeous view of the west valley and coastal range.
We look forward to hosting your event in this friendly neighborhood chapel. Call today for a tour. 503.629.9700.
Sincerely,
Cindy Lou Banks
